What is creativity?

To answer this question, we consider how humans are able to create. Inasmuch as we humans did not create this world itself, we humans create something using things that already exist in it. In other words, we create new value by combining things that already exist. What we can do is not create the things themselves, but create new value. New value is realized by combining existing things.

Therefore, to explore what new value we can create, we need to explore useful combinations of existing things. This was once thought to be achieved through special talents and abilities, but today can be replaced by technological tools. That is Data Mining powered by AI!

At this point, many people may wonder, “Isn’t AI enough from now on?” We have a clear view on this. In order for humans to create independently with the help of AI, rather than relying on AI compretely, data mining will be the bridge between AI and humans. AI can calculate multi-dimensional space, far exceeding the cognitive capabilities of humans. Even if we can chat with AI, humans cannot interact with AI on an equal footing without any supporting tools. Data mining is needed to fill this gap.
